I don't usually write reviews, but here's mine. Today, Monday, at 7 am, a large part of my 11-year-old daughter's braces came off, and she has a long screw sticking out of her mouth. I called the office at that time, and no one answered, even though it was during their stated business hours. I heard their voicemail indicating they would be open on Monday, the 15th. My husband went to the Renton office, and no one was there (8 am). He then went to the Tukwila office, and to our surprise, they told him that Smart Orthodontics was no longer there and that it was a different practice now, and no one had informed us (poor communication). I called the emergency number, and no one answered. I called again at 8:30 and still haven't received a call back. I really like this dentist's office; everyone is very kind and has helped my daughter a lot, and I am very grateful and happy about that, but what happened today has not pleased me at all.

We have had nothing but a wonderful experience with the Smart Orthodontic Group. The staff is friendly, easy to work with and make my daughters feel comfortable every time. -Mom - Me I really like how they always have snacks and drinks open for everyone!

I have 3 daughters being seen here and we love it! Dr Povolny and his staff are friendly, kind, and most importantly, very knowledgeable. My oldest is getting her braces off soon and her teeth look so much better! Would definitely recommend 😁

I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Povolny and his entire staff. From the beginning to the end of my 11 month treatment, I knew that I was in the right hands. Dr. Povolny is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The staff in general is very courteous and respectful. Everyone always has a smile on their face, which creates an incredibly warm and friendly environment. I couldn’t be more thrilled with my results, and would recommend Dr. Povolny to anyone!

My two and a half year treatment and experience with Dr Povolny and his entire staff could not have been better. From the beginning consultation, determining priorities, designing a treatment procedure, making adjustments as the process went on was flawless. His ability to communicate and work with two other dentists who were doing additional oral work on me led to an exceptional outcome. In fact my other two dentists both commented on how well my ortho work was done. The entire staff was a pleasure to work with; appointments were always on time and I was treated with professionalism and efficiency By the way, I was 59 years old when I started the treatment and for those of us more "mature patients", I would highly recommend the process if it is suggested to you by your dentist. There's no discomfort (no matter what your kids tell you) no embarrassment and the final outcome is well worth it. My experience and the results with Dr. Povolny and his staff couldn't have turned out better. Stephen M Lindeman
